Horseless Horsemen's gives horses a second chance. Some of our horses are former racehorses, jumpers, eventers that no longer can complete their previous tasks.  With Horseless Horsemen caring for them, these horses are provided with a nurturing environment, where they can maintain their skills in a less strenuous setting.

Sherman (show name, I’m Just a Tank) has been part of Horseless Horsemen for about 4 years  He is a cross between a draft and appaloosa.  He is very large, but don’t be intimidated by his size, he is the sweetest horse you will ever meet!  He is our gentle giant and when you get over the initial fear of his size you will fall deeply in love with him as our staff has.  He is also a favorite with our special needs students

Our girl Freckles (show name, Grey La Vie) ahs found a place in our hearts, because of her talents in dressage. She is working on piaffe and passge.  She competed at Good Sheppard and put in a good showing at Pre-Novice Horse.  She came away as Reserved Champion in the Prix Caprilli at Dressage In The Park.

Remy is our old school master, he has done everything.  He is a thoroughbred, retired equitation horse.  He was well loved and his owner always checks on him to this day.  He is an excellent horse for our young riders and great with beginner jumpers because he is so gentle.  And as his show name says, you can always count on him to take care of his rider in the ring

Amadeus has been with us for about two  years.  He is a branded Wesphalian equitation horse.  He was donated to us because he no longer was able to perform what was required by his previous owner and they wanted a good home for him.  He is a beautiful, intelligent horse that has a great future in his new career with Horseless Horsemen.

Charlie is about 15 years old and was donated to Horseless Horsemen by his previous owner who could no longer care for him.  He was a childs all around horse.  He was ridden on trial, a bit of jumping and dressage too.
